1/16th hole punch
small phrase stamp
brown dye ink
stitch stamp
crafting knife (x-acto knife)
sponge daubers or other sponges
piercing tool
ruler
clear stamping blocks

May Beginner Card Club

Hello again! In April we learned about dye ink. Now its time to stamp with chalk inks. This is a very clean and simple card, but perfect for when you need something quick. Believe it or not, this really is a 10 minute card (or maybe even less!!!).
Here's what to bring to class (if you have it) besides your basic craft kit:
Chalk ink in yellow, turquoise, or brown and aqua colors.
Clear acrylic blocks (if needed)
Small phrase stamp (1-3 inch)
Branch/twig/tree stamp-not too compact, but a with little open space
Double stick foam pop dots
I realize a lot of you might not have any chalk inks, so don't worry if you don't!
Don't forget to call All About Pictures at 364-4141 to reserve your stamping spot! See you soon! ~Kim~

May Card Club

If you have Perfect Pearls, this is your "Golden" opportunity to learn a new way to use them, if you don't have Perfect Pearls, this is a good time to try them out and see what they're like! The cardstock is shimmery, and the butterflies are shimmery, too, REALLY...this picture doesn't do justice to all the shimmer and shine-RATS! I love working with these powdered pigments but can't seem to get good pictures...you're just going to have to see it in person!

Here's what to bring to class (if you have it) besides your basic crafting kit:

Versamark ink
Gold embossing powder
Heat gun
Border punch
Perfect Pearls
1-2 inch butterfly stamp
Background stamp
2-3" long horizontal phrase stamp
Corner rounder

This card class is fluttering by May 6th from 6:00 to 8:30pm, and again on May 13th from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. Call All About Pictures at 364-4141 if you have any questions, and to reserve your stamping spot! See you soon! ~Kim~

April Giftbag of Cards

"QUITE CONTRARY" to what you might think, this bag of cards is really easy to make! All About Pictures has gotten in a lot of new papers, and the Quite Contrary line is a cardmaker's dream! I had a terrible time making up my mind, but finally narrowed it down. You know me......there's hardly any paper I don't like! If you haven't made a gift bag of cards before, come and try it out. We'll use 2 different 12 x 12 patterned papers, some solid cardstock, pretty velour ribbon, buttons, and 2 hours later you've got a gift to give to yourself, or someone else!
We're going to play with these pretty papers on Thursday April 29th from 6:30 to 8:30. Call All About Pictures at 364-4141 if you have any questions and to reserve your stamping spot! I'm looking forward to crafting with you! ~Kim~
