July Beginner Card Club

Does the heat of summer make you feel like a lazy daisy? Me too!! So....while I was feeling like one, I made a card with some! For July, I'm going to be introducing pigment inks and heat embossing. It's hard to tell in the picture, but there really are some embossed leaves there.
Here's what to bring to class besides your basic craft kit:
Large (2 x3) phrase stamp
Black pigment ink or versamark ink
Black or clear embossing powder
Heat gun
1" flower punch
Background stamp
White pigment ink
Mini glue dots
Corner rounder
The class is being offered on Thursday July 22nd from 9:30 to 11:30. If you have any questions, or to reserve your stamping spot, please call All About Pictures at 364-4141. I'm looking forward to stamping with you! ~Kim~

July Card Club

Hello again! For July we are going to be doing a LOT of heat embossing.....Hot! Hot! Hot! Just like July normally is in Iowa, right? The pictured card is in yellow, but we're going to be working with RED, because poppies are red, and I didn't like them as much in the yellow! Did you know that red is my favorite color??!! It's right up there, with blues, purples, greens, turquoises, oranges, and yellows...Hee Hee! Anyway.....back to the class....here's what you'll need to bring with you (if you have it)besides your regular crafting kit:
Black pigment ink or Versamark ink
Black or clear embossing powder
Heat gun
Fine tip scissors
Liquid adhesive
Foam pop dots
Hero Arts "Poppies" Shadow block stamp-or something similar, it flower image needs to be fairly detailed with a clean line.
Clear stamping block
Class is being offered on Thursday July 1st from 6:30 to 9pm and again on Thursday July 8th at the same time. If you have any questions, or need to reserve your stamping spot, please call All About Pictures at 364-4141. I'm looking forward to stamping with you! ~Kim~
