Embossed Frame Class

Hello crafty people! Do you have a jar of ultra thick embossing enamel (UTEE) sitting in your crafting stash? Do you have a heat gun? Well then, you've got the stuff for this class!! If you don't, that's great too, because All About Pictures has the stuff, too!
My pictures don't demontstrate the "antiqued" look very well, but I think that's what the look is called for slightly distressed looking wood. The picture on the right with the fern leaf is to go in my bathroom, and the one on the left (which is purple, believe it or not-any of you who know me know I love butterflies ) is for my daughter.
Class is scheduled for Wednesday evening March 30th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. If you have any questions, or want to save your crafting spot, please call All About Pictures at 364-4141. The frames are on display, too, if you want to look at them in person. Hope to see you then! ~Kim~

March Beginner Class

Hello crafty people! I'm hoping the month of March will bring some flowers to brighten our days! Daylight savings will be here before I know it!!!! The special paper we're using is watercolor paper, and this will finish the series of classes on different kinds of papers. We're also going to be using a die cut machine-which will be something we haven't used in class for a while (if ever). I'll have to go back and check! I NEVER tease my husband about all his tools, because I use a lot of different tools in my hobby-mine are just pink, purple or green!!!!

So, without further ado-here's the list of extra supplies to bring if you have them:
Die cut machine
Polka dot embossing folder
Shabby shutters distress ink (or other medium green dye ink)
Lime pastel chalk ink (or other slightly coordinating dye or chalk ink)
Tumbled glass distress ink (or other blue tone dye ink)
Prussian blue chalk ink (or other coordinating dye or chalk ink)
Watercolor flower stamp
Mini mister
Heat gun
Score tape
Mini glue dots

Class is scheduled for Thursday morning, March 24th from 10:00 to noon. If you have any questions or need to reserve your stamping spot, please call All About Pictures at 364-4141. I'm looking forward to stamping with you again! ~Kim~

March Card Class

Hello stamping friends! Here's a couple of pictures of what I've been working on in the "laboratory" the last few weekends when it was too cold to go anywhere. This is what I did while I was experimenting and dreaming of spring. If you're looking forward to seeing something other than white and brown, butterflies are a good way to start. What else would you expect from me, though??!! We're going to use dye re-inkers for this class, so if you have them in your crafting stash, and would like to learn something new to use them for, this class is for you! We'll make 4 different cards-so I'm allowing for a little more class time, too.
Here's what to bring to class besides your basic crafting kit:
Dye Re-inkers (Dusty concord, weathered wood, and pine needles)
Water mister
Black dye ink and Black Stazon
Eyelet setting tool
Glitter
Butterfly stamp (2"x3")
1" small sentiment stamp
Silhouette stamp (flower, tree, etc)
Piercing tool/mat
4" xyron machine (not sticker maker size)
Glossy accents
Text background stamp
2-way glue pen
Foam pop dots
Mini glue dots
Word stamps (like "Journey", "Imagine", "Dream")
1/4" score tape
Class is scheduled for Thursday March 3rd from 6pm to 9pm OR Thursday March 1oth from 6:30 to 9:30. NOTE: Class might not take the whole 3 hours- If you have any questions, or need to save your stamping spot, please call All About Pictures at 364-4141. I'm looking forward to stamping with you again! ~Kim~
