March Penny Black Sticker Class

On March 28th, from 6:00 to about 8:30 we'll be making 4 cards, each using a Penny Black sticker from Day Dreams. 10-184. Most of the paper is from K and Company, Abrianna collection. Each card also uses at least one Sizzix die cut, and one card is a pop up using a Karen Burniston designed Sizzix die.


If you have any of these items, please bring them to class:

scotch tape
scissors
paper cutter
red liner tape, or similar strength tape
liquid glue, like Tombow Mono
Stickles - yellow, gold, green
Black ink pad
Pencil
Black pen - like Pitt, Micron, Bic Mark It
Ruler
Pop Dots
Copic marker BG 15

We'll be using Sizzix die cuts frame back, distressed doily, brackets, swirl, and Karen Burniston's Pull Tag, in addition to Spellbinders Nestabilities, Penny Black Sticker Day Dreams 10-184 and K & Company paper.

March Caboodle Class





Hello stampers! I don't know about you, but I'm ready for some flowers to start showing their pretty faces! I'm long past dreaming about a white Christmas! The cards for this month are definately colorful-there are yellows, pinks, black, aqua, blue, purple, lime green-Happy Spring kinds of colors! Having said that, if you have Spring and/or Easter stamp sentiments, I'm sure the stamps would be happy to be used on these pretty papers! Come on ladies, you have to realize that if pretty paper "talks to me", stamps do too! HAHA! Here's the extra supplies to bring to class besides your basic crafting kit:

Lots of foam pop dots (of course)
Lots of glue dots (of course)
Scoring tool
3/4", 1 1/4", 1 3/8", and 1 3/4" circle punches (of if you have circle dies and die cut machine-great!)
1" butterfly punch
Tweezers (optional but handy)
Corner rounder
Black dye ink
Stapler
Score tape

March CAS class



Hello stampers!  I know that this card really doesn't qualify for clean and simple stamping, however, the paper screamed at me to do and Easter theme, and the result is what you see pictured above!!!!  And.....since you all "crack me up" I thought this gate fold oval with a zig-zag edge would be perfect!  Here's the goodies to bring to class (if you have them) besides your basic craft kit:

Petite Oval and Scalloped Lg Spellbinder dies
Die cut machine
Swirl or Polka dot Embossing folder

2-way glue pen

Beginning Copic Marker Class - Starts this Wednesday







With the growing interest in Copic Markers, we will be offering a 'NEW'  Beginning Copic I Class this spring.  Our current class will be ending soon, so its time to start again for those of you that missed the first class. Maybe you already have Copic Markers or you are interested in building a collection, this class will focus on basic techniques, Copic products and give you the information needed to select the markers that fit your style.  You will color images every week as you build your color collection, then you can take your images home to complete a project.  The class has been scheduled for the second Wednesday of the month and will start March 14th.  Class time is 6 -8pm.  Supply list will be available at the store this week and I will post on this blog by Friday. Please call the store to reserve your space.  364-4141.

NEW..NEW  Supply list for class: Copic Markers, G40, G43, G47, Colorless Blender, 0.3 Black Multiliner.  If you already have a Copic collection, please bring all markers to class.

For those of you that have been taking the current Copic I class, please sign up to continue your classes by joining us on the second Tuesday of the month for the Copic II class.  Our next class is Tuesday, March 13th from 6 -8pm.  We will be working with the Copic Airbrush system, so call the store and reserve your place.

Hoppy Easter Honey Pop Class This Wednesday

It's time for another HoneyPop Class and we will focus on this adorable bunny who is hopping by just in time for Easter!
With his fuzzy tail and googly eyes, he's sure to be a hit with all those little ones.

March Card Club



Hello stampers!  I have two pictures of the card we're doing in March.  It was hard to capture the shimmer with my limited photography skills.  When you see it in person, you'll get the "picture".  (HAHA! Pun intended)

Copic II Class this Tuesday

Yes believe it or not, we will have a Copic Class on Valentines Day. This month I am featuring these two different cards that are so much fun.  First I have a cat that just makes you smile and wonder what he's up to.  Our second card will feature a beautiful butterfly from Hero Arts.  I love butterflies because you can color them so many ways and as you can see, I love to layer them so it seems they can take flight any moment.  If you have not already signed up to take this class, please call soon for the last 2 remaining spots.

Come join Linda this Saturday, Feb 11 from 10-12 or next Friday Feb 17th from 1-3 to make 2 cards utilizing glitter and lace and two using paste and dry embossing techniques.


The supplies for Saturday, February 11 from 10-12 and Friday February 17 from 1-3 class (they are the same class. )

Celtic heart, Shamrock, paste,piece of lace 4 x5 ( if you don't have one I will have some at class),
Shamrock green, and a gold fine glitter ( if you want to use red and white that's Ok),

February Coloring Class

The request in coloring class has been a wedding card so ask and you shall receive. But it's not only a wedding card but could also be a birthday, sympathy or just a card to say thinking of you.
You will need to bring to class (besides your regular supplies) : Cuddlebug folder; musical flourishes, Nestabilities; Beaded Ovals, Blossom, Scalloped and classic Hearts,Floral Flourishes, Stampin Up ticket punch, word stamp, gold embossing powder, Versamark pad, heat gun, embossing buddy,
pop dots. If you don't have these items, don't worry, we will have them in class for you to use.
