Cosmo Cricket Christmas Caboodle

I know this is only August, and I know it's still hot outside, but there is a lot to be said for getting your Christmas cards done now, so you can relax as the Christmas rush begins. If you're like my Mom-in-law, she'd say 10 cards down, 150 more to go! We really are going to make 10 cards, and you'll have some extra patterned paper left over to make more!
Here's the supply list for class (but you don't have to "check it twice", that's Santa's job, you know):
Foam ink applicator/sponges
Scallop border punch
Christmas phrase stamps
Corner rounder
Foam pop dots
2-way glue pen
Purple dye ink (like Dusty Concord distress ink)
Light tan dye ink (Antique Linen distress ink)
Piercing tool
Class is scheduled for Thursday evening August 11th from 6:30 to 8:30. If you have any questions or need to reserve your spot, please call All About Pictures at 364-4141. It's a beautiful sight, we're happy tonight, inking in a stamping wonderland! HeeHee! ~Kim~

August Card Club

Hello again! Since Papercrafts has been going on about their stamping royalty contest, I thought, hmmm....we're stamping royalty, too....we're stamping monarchs! Now, that's not to say that you can't use another butterfly, because you know how I love butterflies, it's just that I used monarch colors for this card. This is another in the series on masking techniques, and I think you're going to like it a lot!
Here's the supplies to bring to class if you have them, besides your basic crafting kit:
Clear embossing powder
Heat gun
Dye inks (lavender, pale blue, yellow, black)
Dye markers (Yellow, orange)
Ink blending tool/sponges
Versamarker
Butterfly stamp
Plants or branch stamp
Small phrase stamp
Black stazon ink
Lavender chalk ink
Class is scheduled for Thursday evening August 4th from 6:30 to 8:30, and repeated again on Friday morning August 5th from 10am to noon. If you have any questions, or need to reserve your stamping spot, please call All About Pictures at 364-4141. I'll see you soon! ~Kim~

July CAS class

It's July already, and we've had great weather for bike riding! My daughter's bike has been giving her fits changing gears, so I hope we can get the kinks worked out SOON. Now that she has a big bike, she hasn't done the "Look Mommy, no hands!" thing.....yet. I'm waiting for it-believe me. Anyway, the card we're doing this month is another in the masking techniques series. I'm going to show you how to use shaped masks that you can make on your own. Here's what to bring to class besides your basic crafting kit:
Pale blue dye or chalk ink
Sponges (daubers or whatever you have)
Black dye ink
Bicycle stamp and phrase
Multi blade scissors or grass border punch (optional)
Class is scheduled for Friday morning July 29th from 10am to noon. If you have any questions or need to reserve your stamping spot, please call All About Pictures at 364-4141. See you soon! ~Kim~
